Pathworking Methods with the Tarot Cards

Pathworking on the Tree of Life – 10/9/2020

This was a continuation of the Pathworking from the following week.  This particular session was focused on various methods.

The pathworking began in the same fashion as the week prior, entry into Malkuth.  The items from the rock crystal altar were placed in the satchel and carried with you.  The four Tarot cards were pulled from the satchel and examined.  A short discourse of each followed.  The following methods were discussed, and some were performed by the group.  The methods are as follows:

  1. Each card as the four worlds of Makuth:  Ten of Pentacles as Malkuth of Assiah.  Ten of Swords as Malkuth of Yetzirah.  Ten of Cups as Malkuth of Briah.  Ten of Wands as Malkuth of Atziluth.  Stand on the altar, which will act as an elevator and take you to each of the worlds.  You can whisper to the appropriate card, the secret name of the world you wish to go to, and it will take you.  (Ben – Assiah, Mah – Yetzirah, Seg – Briah, Aub – Atziluth.) You are starting in Malkuth of Assiah.  Feel free to add the colors of the 4 scales as per the last session.  When you reach the desired floor, step off of the altar which then returns to its usual
  2. Each card as the fixed star decan:  Stand on the altar, which automatically lowers itself to the ground so that you may stand upon it.  And ask to go to the observatory.  It takes you to a white room whose ceiling is a dome with windows.  In four opposite sides of the room are four telescopes.  Each is pointed to the fixed star appropriate to the Tarot card.  Feel free to choose a telescope and look through it.  See what is to be seen.
  3. Select one of the four Tarot Cards.  Hold it up in front of you.  Then release it with a gentle push.  It slowly moves further away.  And as it does, it enlarges.  It stops when it hits the wall.   It becomes a large screen.  The screen initially appears as a large mist.  When the mist clears, see what is to be seen.
  4. Select one of the four Tarot Cards.  Hold it in front of you and release it with a gentle push.  It enlarges against the wall in the shape of a doorway.  It appears as the Tarot card itself.   (Can alternatively use the colors of the 4 scales as per the last session.)  You approach the door and do the sign of the enterer.  The door opens.  After you cross the threshold, the sign of the silence closes the door.  Repeat the divine name until a guide approaches.  Before going with the guide, turn and look at the back of the door, which appears in the color of the appropriate scale.  A pair of stones, approximately three feet in height, mark either side of the door.  On the stones appear a picture of the tarot card.  Remember this so that you may find it on your return journey.  Then, turn and go with the guide.  See what is to be seen.   If you get lost on the journey, take the equal armed cross from your bag, hold it, and ask to be shown the door.   The door should appear.

The group tried methods 2, 3, and 4.  The feedback is that they would have rather had each method explained at the start, and to choose only one of the 4 methods as a longer inner working rather than attempting three shorter inner workings at a single sitting.   Group members shared what they saw, and explained which of the methods they preferred.
